Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  2. Add sliced onion and red chili, saute for a minute.
  3. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt.
  4. Now add rice and double amount of water, stir well.
  5. Cover the pressure cooker with lid and cook till 1 whistle, turn off the heat.
  6. Open the lid after 5 minutes and KANDA BHAAT is ready to serve.
